The Freedom health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Ximena's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Mar del Plata are raising $850 for a youth football pitch at the Freedom health centre yard.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 113 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $850 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Materials: $750
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

rooting for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Paris donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
it takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Mumbai so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Zaria
Hope it all works out. More neighborhoods should do this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
