The Freedom health centre yard needs a solar-powered water pump - Binita's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $550 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 440 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
• Materials: $450
