The Cedar health centre yard needs a rainwater harvesting system - Valentina's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,700 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,700.
It will serve about 503 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Materials: $850
• Permits and inspections: $150
• Safety equipment and signage: $340
• Tools hire and delivery: $360
