Bergamo

My family left Syria 13 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Bergamo. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in October. I was an electrician in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $3,100 goes: • Rent deposit and first month: $1,350 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $810 • Winter clothing and school supplies: $570 • Language classes and bus passes: $185 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $185 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
