Neil was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in August. The surgeon at Manila Orthopedic Institute recommended emergency hernia repair, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,600, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,300 short. my father has been in and out of Manila Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,600 is more than we can find. While we wait, Neil struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift.
