After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, Josiah fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a termination letter was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $3,100.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, the family must leave.
There are 3 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Josiah has started working weekend shifts, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.

Sure. The biggest one is rent arrears (3 months), $1,900. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
