Stop the eviction: 2 months of rent for Arturo's family in Puebla
A termination letter arrived last week. Arturo needs $1,300 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Puebla.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, Arturo fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a termination letter was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $1,300.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Arturo has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $750
• Late fees and court costs: $110
• Utilities in arrears: $100
• First month of rent as a buffer: $340
