Start-up fund for Rashid: reopening a small grocery stall after the demolition of the market
A small grocery stall in Heliopolis needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after the demolition of the market.

For three years I have run a small grocery stall in Heliopolis. In March, the demolition of the market took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $240
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $115
Glad we found this place.

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about replacing a cold-storage unit, advice is welcome too. Happy to explain more.
Hang in there, Rashid. I hope things turn around soon. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Tema.
