Start-up fund for Nora: reopening a street-food cart after a storm that collapsed the roof
Nora has run a street-food cart for six years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $2,950 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a street-food cart in Bakersfield. In April, a storm that collapsed the roof took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $2,000
• Initial stock: ingredients: $440
• Shop repairs and licensing: $270
• Working capital for the first month: $240
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care!
Hope it all works out. Hope you make a strong comeback. Love from Aurangabad
