Start-up fund for Matilda: reopening a barbershop after the demolition of the market
Matilda lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to the demolition of the market and needs $450 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For three years I have run a barbershop in Tema. In July, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $40
• Initial stock: supplies: $135
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $275
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
