Start-up fund for Jack: reopening a phone repair counter after a storm that collapsed the roof
Jack lost a soldering station and testing tools to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $2,200 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For nine years I have run a phone repair counter in Dundee. In October, a storm that collapsed the roof took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $1,100
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $390
• Shop repairs and licensing: $220
• Working capital for the first month: $490
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
