Start-up fund for Daniel: reopening a bicycle repair shop after the demolition of the market
Daniel has run a bicycle repair shop for three years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $2,850 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Toronto. In November, the demolition of the market took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $1,450
• Initial stock: spare parts: $320
• Shop repairs and licensing: $300
• Working capital for the first month: $780
If you're reading this, thank you.
