Zoey is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Zoey was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Zoey is 34, worked as a hairdresser until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,600
• Transport to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center: $650
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,420
