Walter was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in December. The oncology team at Dundee Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Walter is 46, worked as a farmer until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dundee Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $1,300
• Scans and lab work: $1,040
