Standing with Sarah: Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs

Sarah was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Tema University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Sarah is 41, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tema University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
