Standing with Paula: kidney cancer treatment costs

Paula was diagnosed with kidney cancer in December. The oncology team at Berlin Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Paula is 37, worked as a bakery worker until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Berlin Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,650
• Scans and lab work: $860
• Transport to Berlin Cancer Centre: $870
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $510
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,610
