Standing with Parvin: prostate cancer treatment costs
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Dhaka Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Parvin was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at Dhaka Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Parvin is 25, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dhaka Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $670
• Scans and lab work: $155
• Transport to Dhaka Cancer Centre: $135
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90
• Household costs while unable to work: $150
