Standing with Minh: colon cancer treatment costs
Minh is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Minh was diagnosed with colon cancer in April. The oncology team at the Cầu Giấy Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Minh is 47, worked as a hairdresser until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Cầu Giấy Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to the Cầu Giấy Oncology Institute: $135
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $920
• Household costs while unable to work: $225
