Standing with Mia: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Mia is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mia was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Regensburg Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Mia is 54, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Regensburg Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,050
• Transport to Regensburg Regional Medical Center: $800
