Standing with Mi-sook: stomach cancer treatment costs
Mi-sook is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mi-sook was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at the Corpus Christi Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Mi-sook is 49, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Corpus Christi Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
