Standing with Matthew: non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs
Matthew is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇺🇸 Fort Worth, Texas, United States1,581 views
Matthew was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in September. The oncology team at the Fort Worth Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Matthew is 46, worked as a bank teller until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Fort Worth Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Transport to the Fort Worth Oncology Institute: $430
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $470
Thanks for reading all this.

Good luck, Tiffany. Get well soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
