Standing with Kyung-mi: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs

Kyung-mi was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in September. The oncology team at Gwangju Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Kyung-mi is 40, worked as a bakery worker until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gwangju Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,350 goes:
• Transport to Gwangju Regional Medical Center: $280
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,300
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,400
• Scans and lab work: $370

Sure. The biggest one is transport to Gwangju Regional Medical Center, $280. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
