Standing with Kipchoge: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs
Kipchoge is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Kipchoge was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in July. The oncology team at Kasarani Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Kipchoge is 36, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kasarani Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $260
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Scans and lab work: $190

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Kipchoge
