Standing with Josiane: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Josiane is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Josiane was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in September. The oncology team at Saskatoon Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Josiane is 46, worked as a bakery worker until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Saskatoon Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $430
• Scans and lab work: $1,550
• Transport to Saskatoon Regional Medical Center: $420
