Jennifer was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in January. The oncology team at Nottingham University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Jennifer is 35, worked as a bus conductor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nottingham University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $9,400 goes: • Transport to Nottingham University Hospital: $590 • Scans and lab work: $640 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $650 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,520 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Wishing Jennifer a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Nottingham.
