Standing with Eduardo: stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment costs

Eduardo was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in July. The oncology team at Cartagena Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Eduardo is 52, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cartagena Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
