Aarav was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at the Indore Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Aarav is 57, worked as a taxi driver until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Indore Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,800 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350 • Scans and lab work: $230 • Transport to the Indore Oncology Institute: $100 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $120 Thanks for reading all this.
