Sheila was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in March. The oncology team at Makati Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Sheila is 25, worked as a taxi driver until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Makati Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000
• Scans and lab work: $115
• Transport to Makati Regional Medical Center: $150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
