Sebastian's final semester of a degree in social work in Geelong
Sebastian has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in social work; a $3,500 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Sebastian is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Geelong State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,500.
The registrar has said Sebastian can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sebastian has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sebastian would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Sebastian isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Exam and lab fees: $300
