School supplies and a laptop for Mateo in San Nicolás de los Garza
Help Mateo begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world863 views
I earned a place in Grade 9 at the San Nicolás de los Garza Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $350, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $350 goes:
• Laptop: $170
• School uniform and shoes: $60
• Textbooks and workbooks: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Take care, Mateo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mateo!
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. laptop comes first ($170) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Rooting for you. This could happen to any of us!
Thinking of you, Mateo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings
Keep going, Mateo. I hope things turn around soon. After 29 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
