School supplies and a laptop for Layla in Shubra
Layla won a place at Shubra Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇪🇬 Egypt1,348 views
Layla earned a place in Grade 9 at Shubra Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $160, which is more than they have.
Layla loves mathematics and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $160 goes:
• Laptop: $95
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Shubra.
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about laptop, advice is welcome too. Good question.
Good luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. All the best
what exactly is the $160 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. laptop comes first ($95) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
hope this works out for you. Thinking of Shubra
You're not alone, Mohammed. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Wish I lived closer to Los Angeles so I could bring a meal
Wishing you peace, Mohammed. Shared it with a few friends. Don't give up. God bless.
rooting for you, Mohammed. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Shubra!
Hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Take care.
