School supplies and a laptop for Dae-hyun in Seoul
Help Dae-hyun begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world1,288 views
Dae-hyun earned a place in Grade 9 at Seoul Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $550, which is more than they have.
Dae-hyun loves design and technology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $550 goes:
• Laptop: $280
• Textbooks and workbooks: $210
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $60
With deep gratitude,
Mi-sook

Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. Blessings.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dae-hyun!
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. laptop comes first ($280) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Hang in there, Mi-sook. It takes guts to ask. Well done!
Wishing you peace. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best!
Thanks for sharing this, Mi-sook. Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 35 people at work. Thinking of Seoul
Hope it all works out. Study hard! We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it!
Best of luck, Mi-sook. Study hard! After 9 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Greetings from Moscow.
Study hard! We're a small family in San Diego but we're thinking of you
