Dhaka
I earned a place in Form 4 at Dhaka International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have. I love design and technology and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $50 goes: • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10 • School uniform and shoes: $30 • Textbooks and workbooks: $10 Thank you so much. - Anika

Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Anika

Sure. The biggest one is calculator, stationery and a school bag, $10. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.

So sorry you're going through this. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from San Francisco.
