Save Sunny: Manfred can't afford the emergency vet

Sunny is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 14 May we rushed to the Düsseldorf Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,650. They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Düsseldorf Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Sunny's recovery.
