Save Nala: Neelam can't afford the emergency vet
A senior cat named Nala needs emergency surgery - a $450 bill the family can't cover.

Nala is my senior cat of three years. On 18 August we rushed to the Howrah Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Howrah Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $450 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Emergency surgery: $280
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $140
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
