Finn is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 24 July we rushed to Brooklyn Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $3,350. They have stabilized Finn, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Finn is more than a pet - Finn walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Brooklyn Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $3,350 goes: • Emergency surgery: $2,200 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $700 • Medication and follow-up visits: $290 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $160 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Gonzalo
