Riverside
Santiago is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Riverside Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,900. The registrar has said Santiago can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Santiago has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Santiago would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Santiago isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $5,900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,550 • Final term tuition: $2,900 • Exam and lab fees: $165 • Textbooks and materials: $285 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
