Rhea was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in January. The oncology team at Quezon City Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Rhea is 30, worked as a hairdresser until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quezon City Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,550 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $190 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,200 • Transport to Quezon City Cancer Centre: $160 Every share and every dollar helps.
