Pioneer Park needs a skate park - Paulo's neighborhood project

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,000. It will serve about 538 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.       Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. permits and inspections comes first ($35) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
