Zola is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Cape Town State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850. The registrar has said Zola can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Zola has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Zola would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Zola isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Cape Town State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $850 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $260 • Final term tuition: $450 • Exam and lab fees: $80 • Textbooks and materials: $60 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Unathi
