Kumasi
Victoria is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at the Kumasi Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Victoria can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Victoria has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Victoria would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Victoria isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Kumasi Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $460 • Final term tuition: $290 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Textbooks and materials: $30 Thank you so much.
