Lucy is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Bristol University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,100. The registrar has said Lucy can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lucy has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lucy would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Lucy isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Bristol University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
