She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,550. The registrar has said Josefa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Josefa has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Josefa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
