Jéssica is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at São Paulo Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,700. The registrar has said Jéssica can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jéssica has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jéssica would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jéssica isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the São Paulo Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,700 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $860 • Final term tuition: $650 • Exam and lab fees: $115 • Textbooks and materials: $75 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
