Ayesha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Dhaka Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Ayesha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ayesha has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ayesha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
