My taxi: Paweł's only way to earn a living
Without my taxi Paweł can't work; a $550 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 4 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $550 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $370
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $75
• Towing and inspection: $55
Thank you for reading my story.
