My school-run minibus: Supaporn's only way to earn a living
Without my school-run minibus Supaporn can't work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 8 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $155
• Labor charges: $50
• Towing and inspection: $45

We're at 92% thanks to 5 of you. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.
Thank you all. We're at 92% now ($231). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($105 in total) the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
