My school-run minibus: Pınar's only way to earn a living
Pınar drives for a living in Gaziantep, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 4 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $400 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $260
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $45
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone, Pınar. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings!
Wishing you the best. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. God bless.
How is Pınar doing now?
thinking of you and your family. Hope you make a strong comeback. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Addis Ababa.
Rooting for you. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Thinking of you, Pınar. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
