My ride-share car: Krzysztof's only way to earn a living
Krzysztof drives for a living in Wrocław, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 4 weeks.
🇵🇱 Wrocław, Lower Silesia, Poland827 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 4 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $110
• Towing and inspection: $55
• Labor charges: $85
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Take care. Your post was clear and honest. After 23 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
