My ride-share car: Heike's only way to earn a living
Heike drives for a living in Dresden, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 4 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $990
• Labor charges: $380
• Towing and inspection: $130
